Unlike your typical flowing class, in a Yin class you can expect to hold postures for 5 or more minutes each and really dive deep into the restoring mindfulness of your body in each pose. The idea is to reach the deep connective tissues that rarely get touched in a fast-paced class. Each pose is passive and done on the floor, creating an extremely relaxing experience. The different yin postures stimulate and move blockages in the myofascial meridians of the body, allowing the balancing of the bodies internal organs and systems. All levels welcome!
