Kids Practicing Acro YogaKids Yoga is a fun way for children to begin to build a foundation in physical and mental health and their own personal self-esteem. Through various yoga techniques such as breath and physical postures, they will benefit from stretching, strengthening as well as increased coordination and body awareness. In addition to the physical aspects of yoga, kids will be empowered with inner-strength, confidence and begin to understand the importance of respecting others and maintaining love for one’s self, both inside and out. By giving your kids these fun yoga tools to prepare them for the challenges of life they will be blessed with a strong foundation that will guide them throughout their lives.

Led by Jennifer Dignon of Heart Child Yoga

In Jennifer’s group kids yoga class the children will be supported during the collective experience while also attending to and building their personal practice. Breath work, meditation, individua poses, group poses, and partner yoga (Acro Yoga) are explored. The classes are playful and also give the child a chance to connect peaceful with their Hearts and others. All classes are enhanced with a deep relaxation experience that incorporates essential oils and individual sound therapy treatments.

Jennifer offers two different classes on Wednesdays.

Kids Yoga, Wednesdays from 2:30-3:30pm – Ages 7+  ~ $10-$15 mats and blankets included.

Yoga for Kids with Special Needs, Wednesdays 4-5pm – RSVP Required ~ $15 mats and blankets included. This class will incorporate more movement and is open to all children, but we ask that you RSVP in advance so that we can manage the size of the class based upon the needs of the children.Teaching Meditation Techniques to Kids
